Our Approach

At Romilly Financial our objective is building solid long-term relationships with Private and Corporate clients, delivering financial security and support. We focus on building and maintaining trust and providing a personal service using a language you can understand.

Independent Financial Planning

We are an independent fee-based planning practice that serves corporate, high net worth and aspirational clients alike. The practice covers many disciplines including retirement planning, investment of lump sums, business planning, inheritance tax and estate planning, protecting your life, health and estate and of course lending, both commercially and residentially. Our work can be separated into three areas. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Chartered qualified and of course extremely experienced. We are members of the Personal Finance Society and of SOLLA. We engage the highest quality advisers who employ the professional standards required to provide impartial independent advice.

Financial Planning Cycle

The financial planning process is the staged process that should be repeated year after year, hence the reason for the circle.  The following diagram shows the financial planning cycle. After discovery we move onto the information gathering stage. Disclosing everything about yourself, your business, your family and your aspirations allows us to really get to know you and what makes you tick. From these nuggets we agree the strategy for planning. After discussion and prioritisation we move onto implementation.

It is not usual to address every area for planning immediately, one piece of work at a time is enough, unless of course you need to. We agree the order and the timescale for implementation and stick to it. This gets repeated year after year.

SOLLA Members

Professional qualifications, whilst essential, are unlikely to give the full picture of an adviser’s expertise. Those advisers who take the further step to become independently accredited come with the added reassurance that they offer the practical help and guidance needed to make the right decisions at the right time.  The Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) are accredited (LLAA) to this strict process which evidences that the adviser meets the standards, through to a VIVA assessment and a final accreditation panel decision.
